The first shipment was delayed three…

The first shipment was delayed three days and all fish arrive dead. I got a hold of the company and they sent new fish. However. All of the fish were anorexic and had disease. Within a day two of the three fish died. They sent another fish to replace one of the two and it arrived anorexic, and in worse shape than the first. Of course that fish died too. Over $500 worth of fish. I asked them to do something to replace the damages and they called me a liar and said they wouldn’t help me anymore.

Buyer Beware

I placed an order for (1) fish which I then needed to cancel due to circumstance. Within 1-hour of making the order I called them. No answer on 3 calls. So I emailed a cancellation request which was the replied to & confirmed cancelled.

After a week, I still hadn't received a refund & so I initiated a credit dispute through PayPal & notified the seller.

The folks @ saltwaterfish.com actively disregarded the inquiry from PayPal & now, after nearly 3 weeks, they still have not made a credit/refund to me.

I ordered 4 cardinals and an elegance

I ordered 4 cardinals and an elegance. They used pink peanuts and there was no cooling packs in the box. 2 of the small ones were dead and 2 of the medium ones did not survive after acclimating in a 4 year thriving 55 gallon tank. The biota group is way better! Go there! The elegance is not even the one that was in the picture!

Free dead fish

Free dead fish, thanks! I wish I would have seen these reviews before ordering. Place a $300 order to get a free flame angel which arrived DOA which they won't do anything about. The other fish are fine so I suspect they're just shipping dead fish as an enticement to order more. Bad business, go elsewhere!

Colorful/Healthy livestock

I ordered a Dwarf Flame Angelfish, Blonde Naso Tang, Royal Gramma, and a Male Melanurus wrasse. Picked them up at the prearranged fed ex hold location the next morning. My new arrivals came very well packed in a styrofoam container with peanuts and a ice pack for the sweltering Texas heat. All fish arrived very healthy and beautiful. They just finished their first meal this evening and swimming all over the place exploring my 245 gallon aquarium. Only fish I haven’t seen since they were put in is my Royal Gramma, but I’m sure he/she will come out of hiding.

Fourty years of fresh water and marine…

Fourty years of fresh water and marine aquariums has taken me to many suppliers, some good and others were a rip off but dealing with the folks at Saltwaterfish.com has been exceptional. Great quality livestock, super customer service and after many orders I have only lost 1 fish and it was quickly replaced with an even better fish. I don't give five star ratings very often but these guys deserve it.

Saltwaterfish.com is my trusted go to four marine fish and invertebrates. I have purchased many times and always receive quality specimens which are healthy and thrive. I’m willing to pay a little bit more and know with confidence I’m getting quality and it should I have any issues they will work closely with me to resolve it.

Great deals/trustworthy company

Great deals, just did another purchase, that male my third. I definitely like how they take care of their customers. The only negative thing I will say is the shipping, at least in my area has caused issues with livestock being delivered on time and handled carefully. Its not the company's fault its FedEx, again in my area. Saltwater fish stood on their guarantee, and made things right. They have earned my trust and that's why I continue to do business with them. Everyone knows how online purchases and shipments are, this company truly takes care of you.

Just received my order from…

Just received my order from saltwaterfish.com, unfortunately my six line wrasse didn't make the journey, called right away and spoke to customer service, 15 minutes later had an email stating a new six line would be in his way to me. Excellent customer service. Will definitely be using them again, thank you.

So glad I gave them a shot! I have to admit I am a skeptic about…

I have to admit I am a skeptic about mail order marine life but decided to give saltwaterfish,com a chance. I have made several orders from them now and have been pleased with all the fish and inverts that I have received. I will say that I have had a problem with an order and they responded promptly and sent a replacement the next day which was fine upon arrival. I do suggest using the priority or pick up option to reduce the stress on fish.

The quality of the fish and packaging is truly impressive. The box is appropriately labeled and stuffed with foam to ensure the safety of your fish. What I find most impressive about this company, the immediate responsive and correct any errors, the no hassle experience, and the prices are worthy of repeat business. my livestock came in a day late thanks to FedEx Express

my livestock order came in a day late from Fed ex overnight. 3 doa's and took pictures and contacted Saltwater fish.com. Representative was very helpful and emailed me the replacement form. Im hoping next carrier will treat with care

Received shipment packed with ice…

Received shipment packed with ice packs. Temps in the shipping bags 52-54 degrees. Mandarin goby & spiny urchin DOA. Mushroom turned inside out, toadstool leather iffy. Feather dusters appear to be ok, but time will tell. You would think they’d know how to do this by now…..Never again will I order marine livestock on-line.

This company has excellent customer…

This company has excellent customer service. If your fish dies in transit they will replace or refund your money asap. Very kind and send freq emails to check on its condition if it arrives in bad shape. Highly recommend this company!

Some of the best live rock I’ve ever…

Some of the best live rock I’ve ever seen, shipped from FL, reasonably priced, well packaged & shipped right away. Couldn’t recommend higher.

This stuff was packed with hitchhikers, and coated with different coraline algae. Worth every penny. Even more worth it when you consider shipping is applied!

Beware of free gift offers.

Placed order to receive free shipping and additional gift. Gift (Ricordea) didn’t arrive.
Contacted vendor. Store representative assured me that the free gift (Recordea) would be added to next purchase.
Made second purchase. Received free shipping and store credit for one dead fish from first order.
Order arrived. No Recordia. Contacted store and spoke with same rep. She said there is a note about an issue with Recordea and I would get it with next purchase.
Surely an alternate could have been shipped!
I’m done with false advertising!
Nice fish. Poor customer service!

Great saltwater fish coral provider

I have been a saltwater fish.com customer For about 6 months.. I have Placed Several orders and every time that I need assistance placing an order the staff is most generous and assisting me in those efforts to complete my orders the product that I receive from salt water fish.com is excellent . I typically purchase several frags of the same coral family in order to build an established colony. II feel that the Pricing is most fair and once again the staff is especially kind and assisting with orders. I will continue to Utilize saltwater fish.com as my number one source of salt water fish corals and inverts.

A+ customer service

I am very impressed by the customer service here. My very first order I saw the fish I'd been wanting, a midas blenny, on sale for $35! However before I could complete my order the price had changed to the normal $79 price in the cart. It was a "super special" price and it has apparently just expired. Mary from their CS chat quickly offered to get the special price reinstated so I could process my original order. A+ so far!
